About the organization

A Warm Home for Every Soldier is a non profit Organization that was founded by citizen volunteers for the benefit of Israeli soldiers that are on their own and are facing hardship. These soldiers do not receive suitable off duty housing from the army or wait a considerable length of time before obtaining a fitting housing solution.
Lone soldiers are soldiers who are separated from their biological families due to a number of reasons and therefore need, in addition to a roof over their head, human warmth and a support system. A Warm Home for Every Soldier provides them with these basic needs.

A Warm Home for Every Soldier works in close cooperation with the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the Ministry of Defense and the Knesset’s State Control Committee in order to improve the financial and emotional state of lone soldiers as well as the overall support they are given while in the army and serving their country.

The Organization relies solely on the work of volunteers. All those active in the Organization devote their time and energy as well as the professional know-how they have gained over the years.
